Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling

Sengkaling Recreation Park is one of the tourist attraction that are suitable for whole family.  It"s location right on the edge of the highaway that connects the Malang City to Batu City. It make this attraction is easily accessible by private car or public transportation. If using a private vehicle from Surabaya, navigate the vehicle to go to the city of Malang. Until of T-junction Karanglo (Bentoel) go straight to Blimbing, until T-junction of mosque Sabilillah turn right to Jl. Soekarno Hatta. After at Soekarno Hatta bridge, turn right towards Sengkaling.


The recreational park is never empty of  visitors. Especially on weekends and holidays. Area of  9 hectares has many recreational facilities such as water consisting off a pool of primitive, Sengkaling ark, an tirta charm of nature, an essence tirta charm, swimming squid, bumper boat rides and water bikes. There are also rides for kids, such as: boom-boom car, merry go around, kiddy train, bumper boat, kiddy ride and glide.

Sengkaling Recreational Park was first established in 1950 by a Dutch citizen his named Mr. Coolman 1975 to early May 2013, the management of Sengkaling Recreational taken over by PT. Bentoel and eventually opened to the public. Since May 2013 last, Sengkaling it's management was taken over by University Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM)

One of the highlights of this tourist spot is the water that comes from natural sources mountains. Sengkaling has some interesting rides. As for the rides and attractions at the facilities, include: 5 units swiming pool (hot and cool), 2 units of the multipurpose buildings, 13 units of the game, 2 units of the restaurant, a large parking yard and shady, fitness center, and 2 units tennis court.

In Sengkaling, we can also too see some of the animals. There is also an artifical lake with a beautiful panoramic view of shade trees in the vicinity. If you want to enjoy this lake, you can surround it with using water bike or paddle boat. Restaurants with various menus are also numeruos in this recreation park. In addition, the Sengkaling Recreational Park also have supporting facilities
such as halls Bougenvil Room with a capacity of 700 people's. This hall you can rent to hold a wedding, birthday, etc. Usually in the days of big or long holidays Sengkaling Recreational Park bring musical performances. This attraction is open daily with operating hours from 06.00 to 17.00 pm. Special Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays operates at 06.00 to 20.00 pm.

Sengkaling Recreation Park provides several types of season tickets for the visitors. Regular admission is Rp 15.000, not including the price of the tickets for each vehicle. Season tickets for adults are Pinishi package for Rp 30.000. With this ticket, visitors can enjoy several rides such as the mystery ship, water bikes, fishing world, a wind mill, a primitive charm, boom-boom car, volcano adventure, expression zone, motor boats, snow cave and the Merry Go Round. Meanwhile season tickets for children aged 3 years and above, namely Kano package for Rp 25.000. This package includes a lazy river pool primitive charm, boom-boom car, windmill, Merry Go Round, kiddy train, kiddy car and kiddy plane.

Sengkaling Food Festival (SFF) is a new tourist icon in Malang established in areas Sengkaling Recreation Park, supported the setting site plan, building design, the arrangement of outlets and lighting system are Qualified to give the impression of sensational that will not be forgotten. As the largest culinary centet in East Java, Sengkaling Food Festival (SFF) provide hundreds of tenants serving a vaiety of quality menu at a price that is affordable people, ranging from families, students and tourist.
